Dwain; Don't let the posts of a very few people on this public bulletin board distort the views which misrepresents the decency and good-will of over 2800 members of the Casino Chips & Gaming Tokens Collectors Club.

If raw posts by INDIVIDUALS on this message board is the measure one is going to use as a criteria of renewing their club dues or not, then I think that folks who use such measures as a yardstick have a little bit of soul-searching to do themselves as to why they would not want to stay affiliated with a great army of terrific collectors, 2800 strong, who they have never heard from ... who NEVER post here.

As been stated many times before ... this message board has absolutely NOTHING to do with CC & GTCC. It is a place for people who have something to say to say it.... while others enjoy reading their thoughts. The chipboard.com is not to be used as the whipping boy for anyone who holds a grudge against the club and takes the position that because of what is posted here, should be a valid reason for not renewing club dues.

If you want to read about club related matters, I would suggest that you check in with www.ccgtcc.com every once in awhile where you will find very little of this petty in-fighting. Sending private emails sometimes just does not work as parties simply ignore responding to emails, rederning emails ineffective. But aggrieved parties do, on many occassions, respond to public posts, which sometimes reveals to the reader as to what kind of skunks some people on this board really are. Their own posted words sully their own personal reputations.

As for myself, I don't see this forum changing too much in the future. The heated battles between individuals will continue ... and well-meaning folks like you and others will continue to take exception to what you've just read. The solution is not to withold dues from the club .... but perhaps to restrict the degree of visits to certain threads on this board that causes so much angst to some people.
