Suppose someone is charged with robbing a bank, and his sole defense against the criminal charge is that he was simply making a profit. Does that make it OK? If not, then why do you think that your lame excuse "making a profit" justifies any crooked swindle you care to pull?

Your eBay policies have been changed to avoid this kind of behavior now. Why wouldn't you apply that policy to your gouging shipping and handling charges in the past, which you haven't made good on?
