I really do appreciate you wanting me to have this chip.
But it goes alot further than just a chip. It's more about principle than that. It amazes me how many people on this board wanted to "GIVE" me their Hootie chips! I think it's very generous, but I am not looking for handouts, I am looking for answers!
It seems to me that everyone wants to defend this guy, I am not saying you personally, but alot of other people do, but so far no one has said that they have gotten in touch with this guy Jim, to find out why he never answers emails, and the fact that he owes me 2 chips!
Instead of coming up with so many excuses for him, because they support chippers, find out what happened to him. If alot of them are supposed to be his friends, then they should know something about his whereabouts? I no longer want the chips. I just want my money back. And I want JIM to send the money back to me, not anyone else! The biggest help you or anyone else can do for me is try to locate this guy. That's all I ask.
I would appreciate it very much, if you or anyone else you know, could do me that favor.
And to answer your question about distrusting other chippers, or getting turned off to the hobby, the answer is no! I love collecting chips! And I also enjoy corresponding with other chippers. I have made many chipper friends! But I am very turned off so far, by just one chipper in particular, that's all.
