Would there be anything unetical in just posting the names of all parties in a round robin. Not the one in question but for the future.
I a life member of the APS (stamps) and when sale books went out the recipent had to use a stamp to mark the items taken. The next party to receive the book would check for any unmarked squares and any item that did not appear to be as listed. It was his responsibility to contact the sender and make a note of problems in the book.
A little involved here but it sure kept things on the up and up.
