This scenario has happened more than once to me.

Two chips I thought I might want went up for auction on Ebay on 4 July. I marked them as a favorite so as not to lose them. They will be ending at 18:53 tonight.

As I watched for 6 1/2 days not one bid was placed. So.....having a few family over for dinner tonight, I thought I might miss the ending and put in my bid.

IT WASN'T AN HOUR AND A HALF LATTER, SOME KNUCKLEHEAD JUMPED IN RIGHT BEHIND AND OUT BID ME !!!!

I HATE WHEN THAT HAPPENS !!!!

As I said, this has happened more than once or twice. A case of: Nobody wants it until someone else does.

So there. Just venting my reasoning for sniping.
