...and at least some of what you wrote was funny when compared to the real-life truth.
"just remeber we are in a war that 1/2 of america doesnt support"
Which half is that? The first, second or third half? And which war do you think they don't support? The war in Iraq, the war in Afghanistan or the war on terrorism? If you don't support the war on terrorism (which the other two are), pacifism is okay as an ideology but it's no way for a government to protect its citizens from those who have declared war ON THEM! BTW, America starts with a capitol "A".
"where young americans are losing their lives for a cause that most of them dont even support"
That's one of the funny parts. Our military is all volunteer. The brave men and women who are serving in our armed forces know exactly what they're fighting for. Your freedom.
"and are governed by a political party that loses public support every day"
That's wishful thinking. Don't kid yourself.
"it may seem funny to mock the Dems but at least most of them didnt "inherit " the job of politician from their rich daddies in Texas"
Another funny part. ..and not a too uncommon view from the extreme left. I guess the blinders are firmly in place when inherited "rich daddies" politics are concerned. Can you say Kennedy or Gore? How about suger-momma wife. Ms. Kerry comes to mind, and JFKerry was no poor boy either.
"at least a portion of them wont blindly follow the prez's lead"
That's to be expected.
The people elect the president. Sit back and watch it happen again.
I'd seen Jim's convention schedule posted elsewhere on the web prior to his posting it here. While it certainly doesn't represent what will be the actual schedule, it most certainly does indicate who Democratic politicians are beholding to on the fringe end of the political left. ...except the Ted Kennedy toasts. The DNC doesn't make any money off of the sales of liquor. ...at least not as much as Ted does.
