I recall previous conversations on this subject. Basically, as I understood it then, jeton is the european word for chip. We Americanos tend to use the word jeton to distinguish european-style chips. And those who are not fanatical chip collectors tend to use the words chip and token interchangably. Sometimes words mean what we agree they mean.
