We watched an interesting piece on msnbc, i think, about fireworks. If I remember right, they were interviewing a group known as the Cracker Jacks??

One of them had spent $400 on a 16" shell with a quarter mile break. It was unbelievably huge!!! They showed it being fired on TV, but on TV it is hard to tell the difference between a 16" shell and a 6" shell. I'll bet it was EASY to tell the difference in person.
