Almost as bad over here. You get baby clothes and newspapers free of tax but that is about it. Did you know you pay extra tax if your vehicle CO2 emissions are over a certain level - thats as close as they get to 'taxing the air that you breathe'.

Presumably you pay no tax on Chipco's? or does something else happen for inter-state supplies.

We got screwed when joining the EU - didnt used to have to pay the tax on imports.
