Seems pretty simple to me, Trav. Your "dealer acquaintance" found a previously unknown, beautiful chip from the Red Garter Saloon. The people that have this chip for sale got it straight from the guy that opened the place in 1961. The RGS arodie shown here was speculated to have been used at the Red Garter Saloon, and is "attributed" as such in TCR-6. In the process of digging up the new find, your acquaintance was able to learn that under no circumstances was this arodie chip ever connected with that place of business. That's good information, if a bit disappointing to me <:-(>.
