As I told you in email before TCR went to the printer, I did not agree with the decision.
On the other hand I fully understand your dilemma, you guys were in a "No Win" situation.

"My opinion on this matter which is that it is completely irrelevant what TCR authors place as a value on repaired chips because there value will really be the value of the uncancelled chips because none of us (or none of us without easy access to x-ray machines) can tell the difference.
The only way to appropriately address this in the valuation of chips is to devalue all the chips in uncancelled/undamaged condition that are known to be readily available in damaged/cancelled condition."

IMO, the guys having the chips fixed are the ones that have a big percentage of the better chips in the hobby. If the better chips get devalued, it would serve them right.

Since you have a lot of names of the fixers and I have some, lets compare our notes and post a list on the BB.
