Yes, all of the Austrailian notes are Plastic, also New Zealand, mosty all South Pacific. Must be because it's so wet.... LOL
I store my notes in "SuperSafe" maylar pocketed sheets for a 3 ring binder. Much the same way many people store chips, except there is no 'flip'. My note comes in contact with the mylar. I also use some polyester PVC acid free sheets but I prefer the stiff mylar type. I got a box of the soft ones by mistake once. With the stiff type if the note is NOT UNC then it seemes to 'iron out' and flatten a lot of lighter bends over time, so that's a plus.
