A dealer acquaintance of mine sent me pics of two mint chips. I cannot reproduce them because still hurting from my pc main frame crash is my scanner; it isn't scanning; and I can't conveniently get access to the Law College scanner. Here's a description. Neither chip is in TCR.

1. Red $5 sgk, "Red Garter Saloon, Virginia City, Nev." with 3 cream or off white inserts. The pic shows only side of the chip so I assume it is the same on both sides. The dealer said that only 100 of these chips were made for the owner, Charles Carson.

2. Red $5 arodie, "Sonoma Inn" on one side and $10 on the other.

He did not say what he intended to do with the chips. If anyone is interested, send me a private e-mail and I will forward it on to the dealer. These chips are going to be well beyond my imited budget.
