In general, good message and I don't want to take away from that message, but one could imply that you blame this on newer members with your statement.

I'm afraid those days are gone. Instead of filling this board up with chip stories and articles I find it filled up with "trash". Crap that we (The old timers) find unecessary and meaningless.

I think this is a general trend. I can point out a few links from old timers too if you'd like.

Again, though, good post.
