If you have Norton's, see if GOBACK is listed in the software. If so, use it to go back to a point before the problem started.

If you don't have GOBACK, there is also SYSTEM RESTORE that will also work. You can find it by clicking on HELP at the very top of your screen (usually on the right). I believe you'll be able to get/find step by step instructions.
