It is a special software / camera package that allows the casino to watch how much each player bets by tracking the special chips. The presumption is that it will allow them to properly comp true highrollers. They say it will limit the comps given out to players who just bet big when the pit boss is watching. It doesn't sound great to me.

It is a system owned by Bally's and is already in use at some tables at the Las Vegas Hilton.
