Extra! Extra! Sale of Las Vegas Hilton Completed!!

On June 18, 2004 Caesars Entertainment, Inc. completed their sale of the Las Vegas Hilton to Colony Capital, LLC the owners of Resorts Casino Hotel in Atlantic City, New Jersey (See Links To News Articles Below).

BTW not only are they using the Resorts logo as part of their logo but their new player's club card is called "Resorts International Player's Club" I called the Las Vegas Hilton tonight and as of right now it isn't interconnected with Resorts in Atlantic City, They also told me that points accumulated at the Las Vegas Hilton on a player's Connection Card will be reverted to the new player's card with a new account number while points accumulated at other Caesars properties on the Connection Card will remain on that card. The Connection Card is no longer valid at the Las Vegas Hilton you have to get a new card when you visit the Las Vegas Hilton.

I was also told that the Hilton name will only remain for 2 more years after which Colony Capital will be required to change the name of the property and presumably all of the casino chips.

I have to tell ya my timing to visit Las Vegas Hilton this month was PERFECT I walked away with a good amount of chips for my collection not even aware that the property was being sold.
