I've only been a Club member since December 2002, so I definitely qualify as a newbie.

One issue that hasn't been raised: For the CC>CC to enjoy its tax free status, it is always subject to great scrutiny from several areas. The IRS is one, and you can bet the house, NO scam - in any way, shape, or form would be tolerated. Nor would the Club remain chartered by the State of Nevada.

Just these two things would preclude the existence of any scams. In my opinion, a building fund is a very realistic and desirable goal. OK. That was my two cents. Thank you.
