I hate to mention it but there is a good reason for the trust among most chippers. Many people who collect chips can afford to! To them reputation is more important than than money. A lot of these are the people with Dr. or Prof. before their name. The same is true for the many independent business men among us. This is not to say that Salaryman or a blue collar worker can't or won't be as honest. But people who run their own business or are in a position of trust are used to dealing with others on a basis of trust. It becomes second nature to them. For the sucessful ones, the money is even less important since they have more than enough. I will say that I have never seen so many trusting people in one organization.
