if you haven't already bought a set, I suggest you not get a set with the values on them--rather get a set with different colors. Our old game changed values from time to time and I played in a small game; colors can change to reflect value. The best bet for a small game with a dime or quarter as the low denomination is two have twice as many low values (usually white) as a combination of the next two. Thus 300 white, 150 red, 150 blue and 100 other color. Or 200/100/100/100.
