Not that this would be the case for your the auction you mentioned....but Ive seen a frew times where the seller will quote the value of whichever book value is higher. I don't remember the seller names, but i had checked the sellers other auctions, and saw that in some auctions he quoyerd the high James C's "Official priceguide" book value, and in others the the TCR high book value. The person clearly had both books.

Unfortunately, Ive seen it a few times. I've always emailed the sellers when I see that. I'm sad to say the sellers have either not replied back, or have stated they are quoting the price that they felt most reflected what the realistic value is.
