Pete, The slot machine I have from Japan, which BTW, is an Aladdin version with genies, etc. was converted by the guy I got it from. It takes quarters & those Japanese slot tokens. Of course, whenever someone comes to the house & wants to play, I hide all the slot tokens & tell them to use their own quarters. Me & my grandbaby clean out the machine on Sunday & head straight for McDonald's which is her favorite place to eat. I prefer Sonics but she owns shares in Mickey D's.
