The verified win has nothing to do with these chips. Prior, it had to do with currency transaction reports and the issuing of CTRs as required by the old version reg. 6A.

The problem is/was Doyle Brunson was robbed of $500.00 chips, after the World Series of Poker, in his own home. The Shoe believed it could help track down those stolen chips by placing a cancel on this series and forcing redemption. If redemption were attempted by an unknown individual instead of high profile or well known players they would require an explanation as to "where did you get these chips"? Instead the whole thing has turned into a mess!!!
