My what did it was a beautiful set of 300 design clay chips (eagles w/stars) that a friend had in our home game. I started out at flea markets, yard sales, antique shows , etc. looking for a set like it; kept finding odds and ends and got attracted to the little beauties; but my first design clay was a lily. I used to pass on the ugly clay chips with letters (like "D.J.") until I finally met Dale Seymour and then like weeds in my garden I began grabbing everything I could find. But I still have my blue lilly chip in my Plants binder marked "No. 1."
