The letters are the original letters that were displayed on the legendary Chalfonte-Haddon Hall. All letters are in great shape. They were removed earlier this week to make way for a new Resorts sign to mark a new $125 million art-deco hotel tower that will open this July 2.
All monies raised from this auction will go the Atlantic City Special Services School District and Boys and Girls Club
There are two (2) sets of original Resorts letters
One set of gaming history letters measures eight (8) feet in height each, with each letter weighing 285 pounds
The other set of letters measures ten (10) feet in height each, with each letter weighing 400 pounds
