You're misunderstanding your own point. You didn't say one way or the other whether you'd combine shipping, BUT YOU DID COMBINE SHIPPING, by sending them all in the same envelope. What you failed to do is reimburse the shipping charges not applied to actual shipping. That's gouging, and is also prohibited by eBay.
Further, you've got your foot in your mouth so far that your knee is disappearing. In a subsequent auction, I did indeed ask if you would combine shipping. You refused to answer the question. So what good would it have done for me to ask you before the auctions in which you gouged me?
The reason you shipped them all together is because you wanted to keep the extra money you would have had to spend if you had shipped them all separately. And as you noted yourself, there would be no reason to do that, so you should have refunded the money. For that, you deserved your negative feedback. I'm not surprised that you refused eBay's Square Trade mediation - you're a coward. And there was no bubble envelope involved at all, just a plain white business envelope.
