... reelly? <wg> Well, based on email from Marv, I have figured it out -- not Miller, but Jim Arnold.
In my last exchange of email with him (December of last year), Arnold said he was interested in "getting to the bottom of this" with respect to Bond chips and his ads stopped appearing for awhile. Seemed sincere and reasonable. I sort of lost track of him until reminded by Marv's post.
With respect to Bond chips, the following is part of email I received from Paul-son on this subject (still trying to get more info):
>> -Some of the chips were actually used in the movie. Only some of the chips
used were returned.
>> -The original inlay was different than the one used now. The inlay now is
round.
>> -The $1000 chip was added later and not used in the movie.
This message was sent to me prior to the convention. During the convention, I went to the Paul-son store and saw that the $500 chip in the store had the hexagonal inlay. All others round. I have, however, seen other denominations with inlays that were not round; just don't remember now which denominations, but I do recall seeing a hub inlay and, I think, a cog.
I intend to contact this seller again. ----- jim o\-S
