Yes sometimes you can even find Las Vegas Casino Chips in the Midwest
I found these today at an estate auction down the street from where I live.
I had gone down and hour before the auction started just to look around. I was making my final pass before I called it a wash and went home.
But for some reason, I looked in a pewter cup that was in a junk box that had a wooden nickel in it (and some other stuff). I poured the cup out to find 15 casino chips in the cup!
So I had to wait around 2 hours for the table to come up with the box of junk. I won the box of junk for a very good price (an antique mall dealer was bidding against me).
I didn't really know what I had bought but I knew that the 4 - 25 cent California Club chips were "C" value and so were the other 5 chips in the cup.
Then I came across the 5 Nevada Club chips! Then to round it out, I miss read TCR and thought that the Tropicana was only a "G" chip (boy was I wrong!). Then only bad thing is one of the Nevada chip chips has a big chunk out of the rim
The box was filled with other “junk” like bottle openers, an old safety razor, the 2 pewter cups, and......the old guys false teeth!!!!
