I remember back in the '60's, I had a big old Chevy 3/4 ton pickup and camper. I had saddle tanks with a total capacity of 53 Gal. Gas was 19 cents a gallon and I would get a discount if I bought more than 50 gallons!

President Bush is in a no win situation as far as gas prices go. Firstly, everyone thinks it is his responsibility to interfere with the marketplace which is wrong. Secondly, if he "jaw bones" OPEC into increasing production, then that idiot Micheal Moore can say "I told you so". Thirdly, if he stops refilling the Strategic Reserve or releases some of it, he will just have to refill it later or be accused of shirking his National Security duties. The global demand will still be there so the price change will only be temporary.
