For low limit poker, start with Lee Jones' Winning Low Limit Hold 'Em. Then, Lou Krieger's Hold 'Em Excellence and More Hold 'Em Excellence. When you really get it, you can move up to Sklansky (Hold 'Em Poker for Advanced Players and The Theory of Poker) and Caro (Book of Tells). There are many others. If you want information on tournaments, Sklansky's book is great. For No Limit, Ciaffone and Cloutier/MacEvoy. For on-line poker, read Internet Poker by Krieger and Watterson. There are many more great books, mostly for advanced players (such as Doyle Brunson's book).
Confused yet?
Good luck.
