How about a change of pace, a report of a short trip I took yesterday to the new facility of the Blue Water Casino at Parker, Arizona. Blue Water previously had a small casino in a shopping center at Parker. About three weeks ago they moved into their new facility on the Colorado River just north of Parker. It is a very nice building right on the river, with boat docking facilities. In fact there was a boat show there this past weekend. The swimming pool area is inside the building and very creative with water slides and multi level pools, overlooking the river. There will be a slot club, however they did not have the cards yet. The only chips used are in the poker room, which doesn't open until around 3:00. I stayed until around 3:00, and found poker room personnel more than willing to sell me some chips. 50 cent, $1, $2, $5, $25 are available in the poker room only. The cage told me they don't even handle the chips. There was a sports book area, not yet open, a bingo room, not open, so I guess with a little more time it will be fully functional. Rooms are available, and the food was so-so. Just thought some might like to hear a little about Arizona's newest casino facility. Doug in Kingman, Az.
