Best way to enjoy one of Sharkey's tables is to hit the resturant at Sharkey's Casino in Gardnerville. I'm a' sitting there waiting for meat and potatoes after a day playing at the South Shore casinos in 2002 when I looked down and Holy Smokes... it's one of those tables! And so was the one across from me and behind me, etc. Not as elaborate as the one in your scan Terry, but very very interesting nonetheless. Perhaps there were larger and special versions of the tables that were carted off, but you could still get four chippers around the ones left. After suffing myself and settling back into my room in Reno, I cracked open my brand new Dwayne Kling oral history on Wm. Harrah, Every Light Was On and behold, the first chapter was Begovitch's rememberances of his time in gaming and working for Bill Harrah. A truely outstanding tale that no writer could make up! All in all, a great day for for an enthusiast in this great hobby.
