I understood that if you are a wrong way bettor at the craps table, and you have several numbers covered with full odds, that only the flat bets are in play during the come out roll. (same as with the right bettor)

now i have been told that the odds and flat bets are in play for the wrong bettor on the come out roll ( unlike the odds being off for the right bettor)

Which is correct?
