I'm thinking that most of you probably already know this....I have corresponded with some of you about getting chips from the cashier instead of buying in at a table. It seems that whenever I go to the cashier and ask for chips, they always tell me to get lost (well, a little nicer than that). So Gene told me to tell them that I'm a collector and give them a tip. Well, I tried that and they still told me to get lost! On my last trip to collect chips, I figured out how to get them. So if anyone else is having this problem (which seems to be only me) this is what you do. Sit down at a slot machine (preferably a dollar slot) and order a drink from the waitress. When she brings the drink, ask her to trade your $1 slot token for a $1 table chip. I found this was the only way to do it. I tipped her for doing that and she brought me every one she got! So if any of you are having this trouble, try the cocktail waitress. She'll take care of you!
