Katie, I'll be spending a week in Curacao from 9/19 to 9/26. The airfare is $375 per person round trip from Miami. The hotel is another $600 without meals. I usually rent a car for another $200 for the week. I will visit 11 casinos, gambling, possibly winning but usually dropping a few $100 during the week. Upon my return to Miami, I have to clear Customs which usually takes an hour or more because some fraud from Connecticut is on the Interpol list & they mistake me for him all the time! I have to pay for a weeks worth of parking because my daughter is too busy to take me to the airport or pick me up. You do the math & figure out what I should sell my $1, $2.50 & $5 chips for! What I usually do is trade all of the chips for face value & add my usual & customary S/H charges, which many folks on this BB know about. OH, I forgot. Neal has asked me to get him a bathrobe from each hotel & I have to pay the freight on 4 ice machines, a roulette table, & 10 bottles of Curacao liquor! Life is tough but someone has to do the dirty work.
