I think there is plenty of room for both. Many chippers are former coin collectors... or still are coin collectors.

I vividly recall lengthly discussions not too long on this bb about who has the best prices on bubble shipping envelopes. If hobby supplies are easily obtainable elsewhere for less money ... that's where the customer will do his/her business.

The issue at hand has nothing to do with " ... our hobby instead of another".
