Certainly I can see this, David, and I can also
unserstand why the majority of auctions should not
even have a reserve -- especially with a low-end
chip. I also CAN see, and enjoy seeing, the seller
who lists a chip with a less than $10 value; it's
fun, and there is nothing wrong with it. In fact,
when I have the time, I visit these listings just to
become part of that enjoyment and see what's going
on. as we are all doing right now. When I mentioned
"protect the market" I was referring to that certain
series of chips, as I'm quite sure nobody (knowingly) would list a $2000 chip with either no
reserve or a $500 minimum just to see how our good old American system works. <g>
