Re: CLEANING CHIPS
In Response To: CLEANING CHIPS ()

Rudy,

It has been suggested at times on this board not to EVER clean a chip that you plan on selling at any time in the future. Let the final owner of the chip decide IF they want it cleaned or not. IMHO, this "rule" would definately apply if the chip might be considered "rare" or "obsolete". (i.e., El Rancho Vegas, Dunes, Landmark, etc.)

To me, some obvious exceptions to the "never clean" suggestions would be some of the Panama Casino chips that are around now. They are very common, rather cheap to buy, and VERY dirty. They clean up nicely.

If you feel a need to clean one of your "keepers", I suggest Sterling's Magic Cleaner, a VERY SOFT toothbrush, and slightly warm water.

It is available from Dave at Cheques in the Mail at...

www.lasvegas-chips.com

and other places.

This is just my opinion based on what I have seen on this board and from personal experience.... But I'm sure others will have more to add.

Everybody have a good weekend,

Steve Snowden
