Thanks for posting the ashtray scan Rene. I may be wrong, but I doubt the ashtray you have shown is from the Brighton Hotel Casino in Atlantic City. It may be pre-casino Atlantic City, as the Brighton Hotel goes back to the turn of the century when it was a wooden frame hotel .... well before legalized gaming was approved in NJ. Then again, the ashtray you have shown may not even be from A.C. at all. Would need a more definitive attribution before claiming it is from the casino in A.C..... or even from A.C. itself.
BTW, you are absolutely correct; there is more and more interest being generated in collecting casino ash trays and they are becoming tougher and tougher to find at reasonable prices at yard sales and flea markets.... especially with the anti-smoking movement in the U.S. Brenda has over 600 different ashtrays currently in her collection, and she has never smoked in her life.
