An Ecuadorian friend of mine brought me these chips from 2 casinos in Ecuador Casino Plaza and Hilton Colon casino - MRP.
The $1 on the top shows the common back of the $10, $1 and the $5 chips.
Now here comes the "strange" part of the other 5 chips. There are no markings on any of the chips for the denominations. He told me that all players knows exactly the value of each chip after playing in the casino.
So I was told that "black" with 3 white inserts card suit is a $1. The "blue" with 3 white inserts is $15, the "red" is $5, the "violet" is $10.
Now here comes the hardest part for me to take: I was told that the "bottom" chip with 8 pairs of inserts is a $2.50 chip. Considering that I collect "$2.50's" I am at a loss if I take this chip as I am told. I know that there are $2.50 collectors reading this post, this may seem weird or hard to accept and collect them. Personally I am having a "hard time" accepting it as $2.50.
Enjoy the view!!!!!
