Made it to Chicago on Saturday. A nice leisurly 6 hour drive each way. What a BIG BIG show. There were about 6 to 8 dealers that had chips. Howdy Herz, Henry Garret, Mark Lighterman, Paul Cunningham, are a few that come to mind quickly. The club had a table and talked to a lot of people during the week. The table was manned by Archie and Brenda Black. Chuck Tomarchio was there for a few days also.

One dealer had stacks and stacks of chip pages, each holding 9 assorted chips. The whole page was for sale as a set for about 30% of book value. We got some nice chips at VERY nice prices.

The meeting on Saturday was attended by about 15 - 20 members and was chaired by Archie. This was an informal get to gether, not an official club meeting. One member, sorry I didn't get his name brought a whole box of casino collectables that the rest of us devoured in minutes. Quite a nice choice of cards, dice, matchbooks, slot cups, slot cards, pens, etc.

Next year it's Philadelphi for the show.
