Roy Rogers and Dale Evans were out camping in the back country. Dale wakes up in the middle of the night only to find a mountain lion rummaging around the camp. She lets out a shriek which wakes Roy and scares away the mountain lion. Fortunately no one was hurt, but Roy's brand new, very expensive cowboy boots had been ripped to shreds.

The next morning as they are breaking camp, Dale sees an animal up on the ridge. Knowing Roy would like to have his revenge, she taps him gently on the shoulder, points up the hill and whispers, "Pardon me Roy, is that the cat that chewed your new shoes?"
