I had a couple people asking me in emails about the next edition of The Chip Rack. Im not sure I'm the right person to ask...I think the authors would have much better info then me. But anyway, I'll give it a go from the information I have from earlier communications.

Last I heard, the new edition shouldbe out by the end of May. As I understand, it's being broken down into two individual parts. One part being all of the misc. information such as the cross references, and the second will be all of the actual value listings. The two will be shrink wrapped together. I haven't heard anything about the price. I'm assuming it will be more then $10.00 and less then $100.00.

As for whether I think its a good idea to buy a Chip Rack now, or wait until the new edition....thats for everyone to decide for themselves. Personally, I wouldnt hesitate to buy one now if one was available and I felt the price was acceptable. Three months for me without a Chip Rack is an eternity. For someone else, they may not even miss it.

Anyway, Thats the best of my knowledge on the situation.
