I'm sitting here wondering the same thing as Jim, are you kidding? If you say it was just the one chip then fine. It was like I told Jim, this happened in 1998 during the World Series of Poker which would put it in May sometime. I thought more than 1 chip was involved (which has nothing to do with the price of $8, which at this point I don't remember). Either way, you NEVER said anything about the $3 differance when I hand delivered the chip to you. If there was a problem then why didn't you say something at the time? If you had said "I thought the price was $5" then you would have had the chip at that price. I DO remember you saying you needed it to complete your collection & I sure as hell am not going to try & get an extra $3 out of you! As Gene pointed out, even at $8 that is a good price. As you know that chip is hard to find. Then again that's not the point here, if you thought it was $5 & for whatever reason I had it in my mind that it was $8 you should have said something. Don't forget, it took a while for us to get together because of your work schedule & my playing poker at the Horseshoe, but, for you to say I "screwed" you because of a $3 differance on a chip that YOU did not even say anything about until NOW, which is over a year later. Well......I think you get the point, even if you will not admit it. As for everything else, I'm willing to put it behind us & move on. Nobody says we have to like each other.
