I feel it should go to the area that needs the money and how the state legislator setup the riverboats in the first place. Poor areas that need the money. I go to Waukegan every month and its sad area. Rosemont needs it like a hole in the head. That is very political and they lost the Emerald Casino because of supposed tie in to the mob. It had already started to build and that was because they agreed to pay Arlington Park Race Track a percentage to re-open its doors. I'm a horse racing person more then a LV person or Casino. Horse racing has lost so much and its a sport first and you bet on it versus plain gambling. The Grand Victoria in Elgin will have a lot to loose if it goes to Rosemont or DesPlaines. Horse Racing has been here a long time before the riverboats/Indian Casinos. By the way there was also a rumor in the paper awhile ago that they were thinking about building an Indian casino in Illinois very close to the Grand Victoria. I don't believe they need a approval like the boats do?? There are none here in Illinois. These are my opinions and I don't get to vote anyway.
