The Chip Board Archive 10

I AM TRYING TO RE-ORGANIZE

When I had a few chips in 1976 I put them on a word processing document. As the collection grew I kept adding to it with different folders. Big mistake. Now that I have 100,000 or more chips, the WP is not helpful. I purchased CheckMate and listed my Dakota and Colorado chips with that software. I like it but it is not easy to add chips or new casinos. I have slowly begun putting my collection onto an excel spread sheet where I have my South Dakota, Colorado, Nevada, AC and illegals listed...but haven't had time yet to put in my California and some other categories. If I had it to do all over again I would use a software product such as ChackMate which enables me to :Re: Collection "see" my chips and keep a record of purchase, trade, etc. But I will never get the time to enter all my chips into that kind of software.
