There's quite a few points.

First and foremost, would be for the time until the new TCR becomes available, the mentor would be there to assist in looking up values for the mentee. Sure that sounds like a lame thing, but believe me, i think its extrememly valuable. Right now, there are quite a few new collectors that just dont have a priceguide. Imagine you as a collector without one! ACK...I shutter to think! I don't mind taking a little time out of my day to look a couple chips up.

Next, I would not think the mentee would need to be excusively asking every single question to the mentor. Thats counterproductive.

There alot of people that will ask a question here or there, but dont want to constantly ask "stupid questions". They either dont want to impose...or they don't want to look stupid...or don't want to bother us...or don't want to clutter the board with stuff that everybody already knows...well, you get the idea.

Mentors, whether with an official title or not, have throughout history been an enormous resource. Both the mentor as well as the mentee quite often develop great friendships, and end up both learning things.

We can take this into great depths, or it can be just as a simple bounce ideas off you kind of thing. It can be just as a personal little TCR look up guy/girl. No matter, all are valuable.

I will try to match mentors and mentees as best I can to make them as compatable as possible with each others preferences.
