I think that there should be some guidelines established for any mentor program to be effective.

First; I believe that if one is to contact an ebay bidder, one must take into account that he/she might be risking having their ebay privileges revoked for interfering in an auction.

Secondly; I think that where there is clear misrepresentation of a chip ... that fact should be made known to the bidder. I don't think that just because someone has placed a bid which exceeds catalog value on a chip that is properly described justifies "mentors" getting involved.
