Mike, you posted on the board something to the effect that you had some chips on ebay and that you were not receiving any bids of some of them.
I thought in good faith that I could help you in acquiring bids if you considered some revisions to your listing. I believe I also stated that it was only a suggestion (not certain on that fact.)
Reconsidering all the expenses you were incurring, I agree, you were charging too little for your shipping charges. In fact, I think you forgot a few items: Electricity, depreciation on your computer, space used on your hard drive,
tape and/or staples to seal your padded envelopes, and while your including the time standing in line at the post office, don't forget the time to list your items on ebay.
I remember reading many years ago an article written by the AAA stating that it cost $0.44¢ per mile to drive your car (gas, insurance, maintance, depreciation etc.) which I am sure has increased many fold now. But just using those outdated prices, 10 miles times $0.44¢ per mile would certainly support shipping charges of at least $6.00 or $7.00.
So once again, I apologize to you and all the others that feel justified to charge whatever you wish for shipping. I just hope you don't send me a bill for the time it takes you to read this message as I know your time is very valuable.
