remnants of CIC chips. The bottle I have has at least 4 large pieces of CIC, which are metal. There can also be lead pellets (about the diameter of a pencil and half the thickness of a chip) which are used as weights and are hidden under the inlays of clay composition chips.
Also, some Bud Jones chips have two pieces of flat metal under the inlays (like the old Casino of the Sun, Tucson, AZ chips).
Lastly, I have heard about the adding of lead powder to clay composition chips. I do not know if the powder, which is thouroughly mixed in with the clay composition, will yield a detectable image in the scanning devices at the airport.
Interesting.
